This Policy explains our privacy practices and describes the information we collect about you when you use this Website, how the information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices about such uses and disclosures. We encourage you to carefully read this Policy.
By using this website, you are agreeing to the practices described in this Policy. We may change this Policy from time to time, and we'll post the updated Policy on this website. Your use of this website after we post the updated Policy will mean you accept the updated Policy. If you do not agree with the updated Policy, please don't continue to use this Website. We'll include a "Last Updated" legend at the top of the Policy so that you'll know if there have been any changes.
We are located in, and this Website is operated in, the United States, which may not have data security or privacy requirements as protective as those where you are located. By using this Website, you are consenting to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States.
When you use this Website, we collect information that you submit to us, and we collect Website usage and other technical information automatically as you interact with our Website.
We may provide you with an opportunity to establish an account with us so that you can access certain resources and content available only to registered users. If you register for an account, we collect the information you provide to us in that sign-up process, which may include such things as your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, city, state, country and zip code.
We may provide you with an opportunity to register a Church, small group or other discussion group through our Website. If you do that, we'll collect the information you provide in that process, such as the name and street address for the organization or group. Please note that if we believe the address for your group location is a public location (e.g., a commercial building, school, church or retail establishment), we may publish the name, location and other relevant information of your group on our Website so that it is publicly available – please let us know if you do not wish for the name, location or other information about your group to be publicly available on our Website by marking your group as Private during registration.
We may provide you with an opportunity to sign-up for email communications from us or the steering committees or other organizations we work with or support as a part of our mission ("Partners"). When you sign up to receive communications or information from us or our Partners, we collect the information you provide to us in that sign-up process, which may include such things as your name and email address.
From time to time, we may request information from users through surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary, and you have a choice whether or not to disclose the information requested in a survey. Information requested may include contact information (such as name, postal address and email address) and demographic information (such as gender, race and marital status). Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use of our Websites, improving the services and resources we make available, and improving our organization and operations.
If you purchase a product or service from us, or make a donation to us, we'll collect the credit card or debit card information you provide for that purpose, along with information needed to complete the purchase or donation, such as your name, address and telephone number. (Please note that we do not save or store your credit or debit card information on our servers – it is provided to our payment processors in order to complete the particular transaction.)
We may collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us. If you use our Website to send others (friends, relatives, colleagues, etc.) information that may interest them or messages (such as invitations), or site content through our system, we may store your personal information and the personal information of each such recipient.
We automatically collect information from your browser and the device you use when you visit our Website. This information includes your IP address, your browser type and version and language, access times, pages viewed, content accessed, the content of any undeleted cookies that your browser previously accepted from us and the referring website address.
We may use standard Internet technology, such as web beacons, pixels and other similar technologies, to track your use of our Website. We also may include web beacons in promotional email messages or newsletters to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon. The information we obtain in this manner enables us to customize the services we offer our Website visitors, to deliver targeted messages and advertisements (both on our Website and when you use the websites of our advertising service providers such as Facebook), and measure the overall effectiveness of our online advertising, content, programming, or other activities.
Our website is a general audience site, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you become aware that someone under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take steps to delete any such information.

You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but that may result in your being unable to use certain features of our Website because such information may be required in order for you to register as a member, participate in a survey, ask a question, or initiate other transactions on our website. To update your contact information, change your mail or email preferences on how we contact you, or instruct us not to share your information with a third party, you can access your account online if you have an online account with us; otherwise, you may contact us as described below. Please remember that it may take time for all of our systems to be updated. Even if you have opted out of receiving promotional communications from us, please be aware that we may still contact you for other purposes. For example, we may contact you to provide communications you have consented to receive, regarding products or services you have requested, or if you contact us with an inquiry.
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect the personally identifiable information we collect about you. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage of information is completely secure, and we do not guarantee the absolute security of your information. To help protect your information, please be careful to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and always sign off and clear your information from any shared device used to access our Website.
