SUPPORTING MENTAL HEALTH WITH HOPE
The world can feel especially scary right now. And people around the globe are suffering the consequences—heightened anxiety, feelings of isolation, depression, fear, confusion.
But today is #GivingTuesdayNow, a day intended to remind us that even while practicing physical distancing, we can still reach out and support others. On top of that, May is also Mental Health Awareness Month.
That’s why, throughout the month, we’re concentrating our online outreach on free resources that help people discover God’s comfort, hope, and healing. That includes the 30-day email series “Developing an Attitude of Gratitude” and free guides like “Managing Anxiety during the Coronavirus Pandemic.”
In a season when so many are struggling to find lasting peace or hope, these free resources are more needed than ever.
REACHING OUT ONLINE
Right now, everyone needs to be reminded that even in the darkest of times, there is still light. Online outreach is the safest, most effective, and most financially responsible way to reach a hurting world with the hope of the gospel.
It can cost just $0.14 to take one person from asking a question about God or faith on the Internet to finding truth at Explore God. That means:
- $14 can reach 100 people
- $70 can reach 500 people
- $140 can reach 1,000 people
But Explore God is suffering from the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic, and we need help to maintain our online outreach programs. Every dollar given today in honor of #GivingTuesdayNow will go directly to online outreach.
If people came together to give $140,000 to keep Explore God online outreach programs going, 1 million people could discover the hope and comfort of the gospel! Can you imagine?
All overhead costs are covered, so every penny you give for #GivingTuesdayNow will go directly to sharing God’s hope online with a hurting world. That's our promise to you.
Will you help people find hope today?
